What is Avg Free 8.5?

Should I Install it?

Yes, AVG is Free for home users and students and is much lighter for your system.

 

What should I know before I install AVG?

Should not make sure all other antivirus software on your system is completlely uninstalled before you install the new version. Like with any major update, you should always back up your personal data to an external meduim (either external harddrive or CDs/DVDs) before you start.
